The journey of BTS members V and RM during their military service continues to captivate fans worldwide.
On March 31st, a K-League 1 split game between Gangwon FC and FC Seoul unfolded at Chuncheon Songam Sports Town, drawing attention not only for the fierce competition on the field but also for the stars watching from the stands.
Broadcasted live through JTBC, cameras panned to capture V in the crowd, enjoying the game alongside his fellow soldiers. The moment his face appeared on the stadium’s screen, it was met with loud cheers, to which V responded with a bright smile.
V enlisted in the army on December 11th last year and is currently serving diligently in the II Corps based in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do, as part of the military police unit. His expected discharge date is June 10th, 2025.
Despite the hiatus due to his military service, V has continued to dominate global music charts, proving his unwavering popularity. The singer recently released a digital single, FRI(END)S, which he recorded before enlistment.
Meanwhile, RM shared a glimpse into his life as well through several photos on his Instagram, showing him enjoying casual moments eating hotteok, going for walks, and visiting exhibitions.
Sporting a buzz cut along with a hat, mask, and sunglasses, RM embraced a relaxed vibe. Furthermore, RM shared a heartfelt message to fans through his Instagram story, posting a photo of a signboard with the words, “Hope only happiness fills 2024. Borahae.”
RM entered the Nonsan Army Training Center alongside V on the same day last December.
