Disney has released a new set of trailer and poster for the upcoming Korean Disney Plus Original series, The Impossible Heir (literal title), and announced its premiere date.
The Impossible Heir is the story of minor leaguers who strive to seize the throne of South Korea’s wealthiest conglomerate.
The teaser poster catches the eye with the intense visuals of Lee Jae Wook, Lee Jun Young and Hong Su Zu, who are standing among sharp shards of shattered glass.
The trailer introduces three main characters allying for a shared vision. Han Tae Oh (Lee Jae Wook), a young man hiding from the world due to his murderous father; Kang In Ha (Lee Jun Young), the illegitimate child within the Kang Oh Group; and Na Hye Won (Hong Suzu), a girl burdened with her family’s massive debt, all realize they share a strong desire to escape their harsh realities and carve their own destinies. The scenes quickly change from their ordinary school days to them standing at a tall building of the Kang Oh Group, foreshadowing the unpredictable story of these three individuals with great ambitions. Additionally, Han Tae Oh’s voice, saying, “Our plan has finally begun,” heightens viewers’ curiosity about what these characters will do and how far they will go to achieve their desires.
The Impossible Heir will be released on February 28th.
