Will BoA make a special appearance in tvN’s Marry My Husband?
In November of last year, BoA’s agency SM Entertainment made an official announcement stating, “BoA will make a special appearance in the tvN drama Marry My Husband.” However, the statement didn’t include any details about the role she will be playing in the drama.
In the latest episode of Marry My Husband, U&K Group Chairman Yoo Han Il (played by Moon Sung Geun) says, “I’ve discussed it with Oh Kwang Chul. It’s your call to end things with Yura,” while reading the newspaper. Surprised, Yoo Ji Hyuk (Na In Woo) asks Han Il, saying, “Didn’t you want me to marry her?” To which Han Il answers, “I knew you two had no feelings for each other.”
Fans of both the web novel and the drama were thrilled to find out about Oh Yura’s inclusion in its series adaptation. In the original novel, Yura is the granddaughter of a chaebol and a villain character showered with money and privileges. She navigates complicated relationships with her fiancé Yoo Ji Hyuk and Park Min Hwan (Lee Yi Kyung), who stalks Kang Ji Won (Park Min Young).
Curiosity now centers around BoA’s possible return to TV dramas after an eight-year hiatus since JTBC’s My Wife’s Having an Affair This Week in 2006.
