FTISLAND’s Choi Min Hwan and former LABOUM Member Yulhee have reached a crossroads in their marriage after five years.
Choi Min Hwan’s agency FNC Entertainment confirmed on the 4th, “After careful consideration, the couple has decided to get a divorce and are currently undergoing mediation procedures. They have agreed that Choi Min Hwan will have custody of their three children.”

Choi Min Hwan expressed his thoughts via Instagram, stating, “After lengthy discussions, we have mutually decided to conclude our marriage. We feel apologetic to everyone who has supported and watched over us since our decision to start a family at a young age.” He added, “I will do my utmost as a father to ensure that our children do not bear any emotional scars from this.”
Yulhee also took to Instagram to share her thoughts, “While our journey as a couple ends here, it does not mark the end of us as parents. We are both committed to caring for and communicating with our children.” She further stated, “After much thought, we decided it is best for the children to stay in their current environment to minimize psychological discomfort, so their father is currently taking care of them. I am making sure to spend plenty of time with them so they don’t feel the absence of their mother.”

Choi Min Hwan and Yulhee welcomed their first child in May 2018 and got married in October of the same year. They expanded their family with twin daughters in February 2020. The couple has appeared on the KBS2 reality show Mr. House Husband 2, where they shared their daily life with their children.
