Do Kyung Soo and Ji Chang Wook will star in a new drama titled Sculpture City (literal title), and it’s making headlines with an impressive budget of 350 billion won ($26.4 million).
As of November 13th, insiders from the industry revealed that the two stars are in the process of finalizing details after deciding to join the cast of the upcoming drama series.
The upcoming show tells the blood-soaked revenge story of an ordinary man whose life takes a sudden turn, spiraling down into chaos. He claws his way back from the depths of hell to unleash a red-hot revenge saga.
Produced by CJ ENM with a significant budget of $26.4 million, the series is helmed by Hard Hit director Kim Chang Joo and penned by Taxi Driver Season 1 and 2 writer Oh Sang Ho.
Ji Chang Wook takes on the role of the man seeking revenge in the series, while Do Kyung Soo embraces his first villainous role as an “architect” who turns the lives of ordinary people into hell.
The filming for the series will begin sometime between July and September next year.
