Sam Smith decided to explore Seoul’s bustling Gwangjang Market, one of the city’s largest traditional markets, after his second concert in South Korea.
At the concert, a few familiar faces were spotted in the crowd, including Hwang Je Sung, who’s been playfully dubbed ‘King Smith’ in Korea lately. Just a few days before the event, Hwang Je Sung jokingly posted on Instagram, “I’ve shelled out my own money for Sam Smith’s concert.” On the big day, he turned heads by dressing up like the star himself and even had the chance to meet the American singer-songwriter after the show.
Following the concert, Sam Smith took some time to explore the sights and flavors of Seoul. Pictures of him and his crew trying out different dishes in Gwangjang Market started making the rounds on online communities. Interestingly, word got out that he had visited the market five years ago, rekindling curiosity about his previous visit.
Meanwhile, Sam Smith’s Gloria the Tour will make stops in Bangkok, Taipei, Osaka, Yokohama, Manila, Singapore, and Seoul.
