Recently, V made an appearance on “K-Pop ON! Spotify.” During the interview, he was asked which member he’d take to the deserted island. Without missing a beat, V responded, “Probably Jungkook. He’s good at all kinds of things,” adding, “If I ask him to do something, he’ll do it.”
Not only that, V went on to single out Jungkook as the member he was most grateful for while preparing his solo album Layover. Elaborating on this, V mentioned, “I recorded the guide song at Jungkook’s house.” He then added, “So, Jungkook actually helped with the directing. ‘Hey, I think if you sing this way, it’d be better.’ He gave me advice like that.” Jungkook, too, previously mentioned that he had first shared his solo track “Seven” with V. “When we work, we always share with each other,” V gushed, underlining their warm friendship.
Although V and Jungkook share a brotherly love, they’re not always on the same page when it comes to musical taste. Jungkook once revealed this with a laugh, stating their musical styles don’t entirely mesh.
Fans couldn’t help but adore the duo’s chemistry, reacting with comments like, “Their support for each other is heartwarming,” “Both Jungkook and V are hilarious and lovely,” and “So glad both are thriving in their solo careers.”
On a related note, BTS is currently focusing on individual careers due to the military enlistment of some members. With Jin, J-Hope, and Suga currently serving, it’s reported that the remaining members RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook also have enlistment plans lined up within this year. Both members and fans eagerly look forward to 2025 when the group is expected to reunite post-military service and reclaim the stage.
