In a candid and comprehensive conversation with W Korea, V revealed everything from his recent favorite movie to his aspirations in music and his adorable furry friend.

In the video interview, V was asked about the recent film that has made an impression on him. His enthusiastic reply was all about Barbie, stating, “I watched Barbie. It was really, truly one of the most impactful films I’ve seen recently.”

The conversation turned personal when V spoke affectionately about his furry companion, Yeontan. “Yeontan ate too much, so I put him on a diet. Yeontan also got his hair cut recently, so he’s very cute,” the singer shared. He went on with a smile, “The boss in my family is my mom. So when Yeontan is around her, he doesn’t come when I call him. But… I’m his no. 1 when he’s around strangers.”

He also shared an amusing tidbit about his most confident body part, proudly showing off his fingers and simply responding with, “Hand.”

Shifting the conversation to music collaboration, the W Korea pictorial included an insightful discussion about V’s collaboration with Min Hee Jin, the head of ADOR and creative genius behind NewJeans. When asked about what sparked this collaboration, V expressed his desire to show a different side of his music and drew inspiration from f(x) ‘s Pink Tape. “Our collaborative discussions were productive, encompassing every detail, and the entire collaboration process was seamless. She brought sincerity and expertise to the table. She has such a warm presence,” he remarked.

Defining what’s “cool” to him, V said, “In my perspective, ‘cool’ carries various nuances.” He then cited RM’s amazing unreleased track, “the one he unexpectedly rocked up at SUGA’s encore concert and just freestyled for everyone.” He elaborated, “Every time that song hits my ears, I think, ‘I’ve got to sing something cool like that someday.”
