HONEYSWEET has released new pictures featuring Kim Hee Seon in her character.
The highly-anticipated movie revolves around Chi Ho (played by Yoo Hae Jin), a brilliant researcher at a candy company, who creates addictive snacks. He crosses paths with Il Yeong (Kim Hee Seon), a cheerful call center employee working at a loan review board. Their encounter leads to a delightful transformation in their lives.
Kim Hee Sun portrays the bright and cheerful Il Yeong, a complete extrovert who relentlessly pursues her goals and dreams of having true love. Her life takes an intriguing turn when she crosses paths with the strangely charming Chi Ho, a researcher at a confectionery company.
In a recent interview, the actress highlighted the similarities between herself and her character. She shared, “Il Yeong and I have a lot in common. Just like my character, I’m also quite straightforward and honest.” Yoo Hae Jin also expressed , “While reading the script, I thought that this role would be perfect for Hee Sun, and I was absolutely right,” raising anticipation for her performance in the film.
HONEYSWEET will hit theaters on August 15th.
