Originally planned to remain open until June 6th, the 49th day after Moon Bin’s passing, the memorial space was relocated to the designated area of the Buddhist temple in Namhanseong fortress following discussions with the bereaved family.
On the same day, Fantagio made an official announcement on ASTRO’s official fan community. They stated, “We understand how much AROHA wishes to honor Moon Bin for a longer time. Therefore, we’ve relocated the memorial space for fans to visit and pay respects.”
The agency explained, “Even though Moon Bin didn’t practice Buddhism, we’ve chosen a special area at Gukcheongsa, a Buddhist temple located at Namhanseong fortress, in consultation with his family. Starting from 5:30 AM on June 7th, 2023, the memorial space will be open for an extended period.”
They further added, “We know reaching Gukcheongsa might be challenging due to the uphill and narrow path. Nonetheless, we genuinely hope this space brings you comfort, allowing you to visit at your convenience, even if it’s just for a short while, and find solace in your hearts.”
