Disney Plus will be dropping Revenant, the highly anticipated series written by Kim Eun Hee and starring Kim Tae Ri.
Revenant is a Korean occult mystery series that centers around a woman possessed by demons and a man endowed with psychic abilities as they delve into a series of mysterious deaths. It will be brought to life by acclaimed writer Kim Eun Hee, known for her works Signal and Kingdom, and director Lee Jung Lim, who previously helmed V.I.P.
Kim Tae Ri plays the character of Goo San Young in Revenant, a woman tormented by possession. Goo San Young is a multifaceted character with both good and bad aspects. After receiving a memento from her father, she becomes entangled in the enigmatic deaths occurring around her, undergoing a gradual transformation into an entirely different person.
Oh Jung Se stars as Yeom Hae Sang, a folklore professor endowed with a unique ability to see supernatural beings.
Hong Kyung takes on the role of Lee Hong Sae, a former detective tasked with investigating the deaths surrounding San Young. As he becomes entangled with the two, he finds himself confronting unimaginable events within the show.
Revenant will premiere on June 23rd.
