Chansung shared a heartwarming story about his wife and daughter during the interview for True to Love (aka Bo-ra! Deborah).
In December 2021, the actor announced his marriage and his wife’s pregnancy. Despite the 8-year age difference, they tied the knot a year after the announcement, and their baby girl was born in July 2022.
When asked about balancing childcare and filming, Chansung expressed his gratitude, saying, “Fortunately, the scenes I need to be in are often scheduled on the same day, so I don’t have to leave home frequently.”
In his recent drama, the actor skillfully portrayed Bora’s arrogant ex-boyfriend, which evoked anger from some viewers. Reflecting on the response to his performance, he shared his wife’s reaction, saying, “She told me that I did a good job and mentioned that my character has been receiving a lot of hate comments.”
He has also shown a strong commitment to prioritizing his family. He expressed, “After work, I do the house chores and prioritize spending with my family. It’s interesting how my daughter looks just like me, although I hope she doesn’t inherit my body structure since she’s a girl.”
The celebrity also revealed that he declined an offer to appear in a variety show with his daughter. He explained, “I believe it should be my daughter’s choice, not mine. If she decides to do so in the future, I would support her, but I didn’t want to make that decision for her. For now, I don’t have any plans to have my child go on TV.”
