The teaser poster and release date for Kim Tae Ri and Oh Jung Se’s new mystery thriller, Revenant, have been revealed.
Airing every Friday and Saturday, this upcoming occult mystery series on SBS centers around a woman possessed by demons and a man gifted with psychic abilities as they delve into a series of enigmatic deaths.
Revenant will be brought to life by acclaimed writer Kim Eun Hee, known for her works Signal and Kingdom, and director Lee Jung Lim behind V.I.P. In the series, Kim Tae Ri will portray Gu San Yeong, a woman plagued by possession, while Oh Jung Se takes on the role of Yeom Hae Sang, a folklore professor with the unique ability to see supernatural entities. Joining them is Hong Kyung, who portrays a former detective on a quest to uncover the truth behind these mysterious deaths.
The production team shared, “While the term ‘devil’ typically refers to an evil entity, it also represents individuals who engage in malicious acts. In our drama, Revenant, we delve into both the human aspect and the enigmatic spiritual realm. It will be a captivating package, combined with the chilling horror of the occult genre, the tension generated by the series of mysterious events, and a hidden message within the narrative. Revenant is set to premiere on June 23rd.
