The highly anticipated return of Strong Heart League is set to take place next month.
According to Daily Sports on the 24th, the reboot of SBS’s variety show Strong Heart, titled Strong Heart League, will premiere on May 23rd, but the specific broadcast time has yet to be determined. Along with the news, SBS announced trot singer Young Tak as the regular cast member of the show.
Strong Heart League is the reboot of the hit show Strong Heart, which aired from 2009 to 2013. The talk-show-style program aims to share stories from around the world in an era where it is difficult to grasp the latest trends due to the disappearance of real-time searches and the dominance of personalized YouTube algorithms.
Kang Ho Dong and Lee Seung Gi, who previously co-hosted Strong Heart together for two years, will reunite as the show’s MCs. The pair will be working together for the first time in about eight years, after Lee Seung Gi left a video message for Kang Ho Dong in the first episode of New Journey to the West 2 before his military enlistment.
