Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In have recently donated the cash gift they received at their wedding to charity.
The newlywed couple made a donation worth $74,820 to help those who have difficulty in raising their children, according to the Korean Red Cross on April 24th.
Despite the couple being embroiled in multiple controversies surrounding their wedding’s jewelry brand sponsorship and sudden honeymoon, they have shown their commitment to charitable causes.
Lee Seung Gi announced that he will repay for what he received for the rest of his life and donated an additional $7,490 to help the victims of the recent fire that occurred in Gangwon Province.
This is not the first time Lee Seung Gi has made charitable contributions. He has previously donated $15.8 million to the Seoul National University Children’s Hospital and endowed $411,830 to the Korean Red Cross in January of this year. In February, he also contributed $224,630 to the Science & Technology development fund.
