Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In’s wedding gift has made headlines.
On April 23rd, a post titled Someone Who Received Lee Seung Gi’s Wedding Gift was uploaded to an online community, featuring a photo of the gift: a ceramic vase and a thank-you letter.
The letter reads, “Thank you for blessing the future of the two of us, just like wishing for the flowers in the vase to bloom. We will be a beautiful couple who spreads a good scent to the world by blooming with the beautiful scent of our hearts. From Seung and Ra Yoon.” Ra Yoon is Lee Da In’s real name.
Reportedly, the vase was crafted by a potter named Byun Hoon, with 40 years of experience. Although the price of the vase remains unknown, a similar vase design was confirmed to be priced at $52.
Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In tied the knot at a hotel in Seoul on April 7th.
The couple’s wedding ceremony took place at a prestigious venue in Seoul’s Gangnam-gu, which reportedly has a minimum rental fee of $75,047. With 700 guests in attendance and an estimated average meal cost of $134 per person, the total expense for food alone could be at least $97,422. The overall cost of the event, including fresh flower decorations worth $17,232, wedding production fees of $3,296, and wedding gifts priced at $52 per person, is said to be around $1.5 million.
