There have been claims that Yoo Ah In and his acquaintances used drugs together.
According to Kukmin Daily Newsletter, there has been a claim made by an informant that Yoo Ah In and his acquaintances visited various lounges and clubs in the Itaewon area of Seoul last October and smoked something that smelled different from regular cigarettes.
The informant also stated that Yoo Ah In’s group did not order much alcohol but became excessively intoxicated and acted strangely after leaving the club.
According to the report, club officials had suspected Yoo Ah In and his group of drug use even before his drug allegations became public.
Additionally, Yoo Ah-in and his acquaintances disappeared from public view after the Itaewon tragedy last year but reemerged around the end of the year, with the group including models and broadcast personalities.
The police are currently investigating Yoo Ah In’s possible accomplices in the drug use.
A Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency official stated in a press conference on the 10th of last month that they are conducting additional investigations into the accomplices before conducting a second questioning of Yoo Ah In.
Yoo Ah In was summoned by the police for questioning on the 27th of last month.
