On March 28th, Yoo Ah In took to his Instagram account to apologize for his recent drug scandal.
His full statement is as follows:
“This is Yoo Ah In.
I want to apologize again for not offering a sufficient apology after the police investigation yesterday. I deeply regret disappointing those who have supported and loved me because of the unfortunate incident.
I am sorry.
I also want to apologize to those who have worked with me on movies, TV shows, and commercials. I am truly sorry for not expressing my remorse properly. I have reflected on the times when I failed to take my responsibilities seriously, and I am truly sorry for any harm I may have caused my colleagues and fellow professionals who were working towards their own valuable aspirations. I will do everything in my power to take responsibility for my actions.
I feel a deep sense of remorse and shame for the harm I have caused myself despite the fact that many people have been supportive of my acting career. I am deeply sorry for causing significant pain to others because of my wrongdoing.
During the time that followed the incident, I realized that my mistake was inexcusable, and my attempts to justify my actions were foolish and could not cover up my wrongdoing.
I will fully cooperate in the upcoming investigations and accept all criticism and legal punishment.
Once again, I offer my sincere apologies.”
