The controversy surrounding Yoo Yeon Seok continues to grow as a netizen who exposed his alleged power abuse claims that the actor has not written an apology letter.

On March 21st, an article was posted on an online community titled “Yoo Yeon Seok Seems to Treat People Differently.” The poster claimed that their father was mistreated by the actor when he worked as a security guard in the actor’s apartment.

The actor’s agency, King Kong by Starship, denied the rumors by stating, “The rumors are not true. We will take strong legal action against the poster.” Afterward, an apology was uploaded on the online community, saying, “I am the person who uploaded the post. I did so because I felt jealous of him as he became so popular and was frequently seen in variety shows.”

In response, Yoo Yeon Seok’s representative reiterated their official stance by stating, “We will sue the poster over the spread of misinformation and defamation,” along with a screenshot of the post in question.

However, the writer posted an additional article, saying, “I didn’t write the apology in the first place. All I did was share the story my father told me. Nevertheless, I admit I got carried away while writing about it.”

He emphasized, “I didn’t write it for money. I had no idea things would get out of hand this much. I am honestly a bit scared, and I am sorry. Hope things will not get more complicated.”
