Jung Sung Il revealed how his character Ha Do Young felt about Song Hye Kyo and Lim Ji Yeon‘s characters in The Glory.
On March 17th, Netflix Korea uploaded a video titled What if Ha Do Young Went to the Same High School? Netflix Discussion, on its official YouTube channel.
Cha Joo Young, who played the role of Hye Jung, said, “I thought it was love that Hye Jung felt for Jae Joon (played by Park Sung Hoon).” Kim Hieora commented, “I thought Hye Jung’s feelings towards Jae Joon were not love, but possessiveness.” To this, Cha Joo Young said, “It may have started as pure love, but it seems to have become twisted.”
Park Sung Hoon discussed the relationship between his character Jae Joon and Yeon Jin, played by Lim Ji Yeon. He said, “Jae Joon loves her, but she does not.” Hieora added, “Even so, I think her feelings are close to love. She must have considered him her man and felt comfortable around him since childhood.”
Regarding Yeon Jin, Jung Sung Il said, “Ha Do Young loved her very much.” He further explained, “He was drawn to her not out of sympathy, but out of curiosity. Such a feeling drove him to wait for her. He wanted to know more about her, who was unpredictable, as he used to live a life as clear as day.”
Kim Gun Woo said, “It feels like a long-lost flutter. If I had to choose between liking and sympathy, it seems to be closer to liking,” and Sung Il nodded in agreement.
