Lee Min Ho has been named the most favorite actor in the 2023 Hallyu Wave Abroad Survey, conducted in 2022, for the fifth consecutive time.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism released the survey results on March 10th, which gauged how K-content is received globally.
A total of 25,000 respondents were asked to name their current favorite South Korean actor, with Lee Min Ho receiving the most votes at 9.1%, followed by Gong Yoo at 2.7%, Hyun Bin at 2.4%, Song Hye Kyo at 2.0%, and Lee Jong Suk at 1.5%.
Lee Min Ho has held the top spot since 2018, and his global popularity is reflected on social media, with a total of 99 million followers, making him the most-followed Korean actor of all time.
Currently, the actor is actively preparing for his upcoming projects. In Ask the Stars, he will play Gong Ryong, an OB-GYN who becomes a space tourist, and in Pachinko 2, he will portray Koh Hansu, a cold-hearted businessman who completely changes Sonja’s life.
