The new romance movie Long Distance (literal title) unveiled a heart-fluttering poster in celebration of White Day.
Long Distance, which will show the new dating method of today’s youngsters who are online 24 hours a day, confirmed May release. The released poster captures the heart-fluttering moment between Do Ha (Jang Dong Yoon) and Tae In (Park Yoo Na). Oasis star Jang Dong Yoon and True Beauty actress Park Yoo Na will be playing a long-distance couple who’s been dating for five years.
Moreover, the phrase “Dating 24 hours a day” and the hashtag “Untact_Love_Story” written on the poster draw sympathy from people these days who can work out their relationship despite the distance. The images of missed calls and screens of a smartphone or a laptop in one corner raise curiosity about the screen-life romance.
Long Distance drew attention as a joint production of Bazelevs Production, which introduced the technique of screen life to the world with the movie Searching. Timur Bekmambetov, CEO of Bazelevs, wrote “As global interest in K-contents continues to rise, I am delighted to be participating in the production of a Korean film alongside 12 Journey, which produced Nothing Serious.
