How Will TVING’s Island: Part 2 End?
Episodes 9 and 10 of Island: Part 2 see Mi Ho (played by Lee Da Hee) and Pan (Kim Nam Gil) express mutual feelings for each other after recalling their past memories. Meanwhile, Gungtan (Sung Joon) becomes anxious and furious upon spotting the light radiating from Mi Ho’s chest, fearing he may be trapped in the abyss once again.
1. What Choice Would Mi Ho Make?
After finding out that Su Ryun (Cheong Su Bin) collapsed on her way to work, Mi Ho is shocked and decides to take her own life upon learning of Su Ryun’s death. Having regained all her memories, she tells Pan while sobbing, “You’ve been waiting alone for a long time. I can’t close the barrier. I can’t save you.” Mi Ho suggests to him, “If the monster disappears, let’s renew the contract,” after Pan gets injured while trying to save her. Will Mi Ho be able to save both Pan and the world?
2. Pan vs. Gungtan
Pan and Gungtan, who spent their childhood together at Geumdanwon Prison, meet again. Referring to Mi Ho’s tragic past, Gungtan provokes Pan by sarcastically saying, “When are you going to kill her this time? I do not doubt that you’ll kill her again.” Pan responds without backing down an inch, saying, “You can be honest now and tell me you are afraid of her. You just let the monster go away out of fear.” The tenth episode begins with the two showing stunning actions with legendary weapons.
3. John Discovers the Man in Black from the Prophecy
John (Cha Eun Woo) teams up with Pan to save demon-possessed students from danger by praying and sprinkling holy water on them. He is also seen staying by Mi Ho’s side as she mourns the death of Su Ryun.
Meanwhile, John is seen with a determined look after discovering that Gungtan is the savior mentioned in the prophecy. All eyes are on the choice he will make in the final episode.
The final episode of Island: Part 2 will be released on March 10th.
