The alleged victims who accused Ji Soo of school violence were found not guilty in a defamation case against the actor.
Their lawyers told OSEN on January 17th, “Those the actor sued were not found guilty because their posts and comments were not based on false information.”
In March 2021, a person wrote a post on an online community accusing the actor of school violence. The accusations had been deepened with new accounts of the details of bullying that were unveiled.
As the controversy grew, the actor wrote an apology letter on his social media account and pressed charges against the accusers for defamation in July 2021.
Although the police did not indict the initial accuser, Ji Soo filed an objection to the court, and the court once again acquitted the individual of all charges. The actor then proceeded with an appeal and even applied for adjudication. In regard to the actions, the legal representatives of the alleged victims have said, “The actor is not admitting to any of the behaviors he’s done in the past.”
Meanwhile, Ji Soo is currently fulfilling his military duty as a social service worker after enlisting in October 2021.
