Ok Taecyeon and Won Ji An will be starring in a new KBS Monday-Tuesday drama, My Heart Beats (literal title).
My Heart Beats is a new fantasy romance drama in which half-human and half-vampire Seon Woo Hyul, who was unable to become human owing to a one-day gap between 100 years, begins to live with Joo In Hae, a lady with no humanistic side, and finds true warmth.
Ok Taecyeon plays half-human vampire Seon Woo Hyeol who is an early adopter and a trendsetter. He’s a kooky character who went into a cave and ate only mugwort and garlic to become human, but there’s a reason he’s so desperate.
The actor, who showed great performances in Blind, Secret Royal Inspector & Joy and Vincenzo, will be making an acting transformation as a vampire in the upcoming drama.
D.P. and If You Wish Upon Me star Won Ji An plays Joo In Hae, a part-time school nurse and owner of a guest house. In Hae, who grew up in a poor family, worked various jobs to make ends meet and became notorious for her icy nature. However, she develops a loving heart and humaneness as she begins to live with Seon Woo Hyul.
My Heart Beats will begin filming soon and is slated to premiere in the first half of this year.
