Son Suk Ku, who garnered attention as the merciless villain in the movie The Roundup, is turning into a police officer in the new Disney Plus series Big Bet.
Big Bet tells the tale of Cha Mu Sik (Choi Min Sik), who struggles to become a casino mogul but is majorly set back after a chain of unfortunate events. He begins to risk everything he has, including his own life, to get himself back on track.
In this upcoming series, Son Suk Ku takes on the role of Oh Seung Hun, the first police officer dispatched to work for the Korean Desk in the Philippines. From an ordinary office worker adapting to an unfamiliar environment to a sharp-edged police officer carrying out his mission, the actor will be showing various sides of himself in the project.
Director Kang Yoon Sung shared, “He played a huge role in completing the character of Oh Seung Hoon. He even wrote the scripts himself and came up with great ideas.”
Meanwhile, Big Bet will be released on December 21st. Choi Min Sik, Son Suk Ku, Lee Dong Hwi, Heo Sung Tae, and more star in the show.
