Alchemy Of Souls is coming back with part 2.
On the 10th, tvN announced the premiere of Alchemy Of Souls Part 2 on December 10th and dropped the first teaser video that heralds Lee Jae Wook‘s chilly return.
Alchemy of Souls is a fantasy romance drama set in a country that doesn’t exist in history or on maps. It follows the protagonists whose fate has been twisted due to the soul-shifting magic. Set three years after when Part 1 ended, Part 2 tells the story of the mages and Jang Uk, who’s returned from the dead.
“I should have died back then,” the trailer starts highlighting Jang Uk’s splendid return. Having returned from death, Jang Uk has transformed into a dark hero who slays the soul-shifters with Nak Su’s sword that Naksu/Mu Deok has plunged into him (end of season 1). The video ends as Jang Uk chillingly declares, “If my power serves as justification, not one person will leave this place alive.”
In the meantime, a mysterious woman in a white dress is spotted sitting up on a table, raising expectations of the new actress replacing Jung So Min in the upcoming season.
