The second season of TVING original series Work Later, Drink Now confirmed its release in early December.
Work Later, Drink Now, released last year, is a TV adaptation of the popular webtoon “Drunk City Girls.” It features the daily life of three best friends who drink to chase away their stress and pain.
According to TVING, season 2 will showcase the even deeper friendship of the three girls. Along with the news of its release, TVING released the delightful poster of Lee Sun Bin, Han Seon Hwa, and Jeong Eun Ji. The drawings on their faces give a glimpse into the upcoming alcohol-filled story.
The series became a major hit for its sympathetic portrayal of three ladies growing up to become “real adults” as they experience first love, the hardships in their first job, losing jobs, etc. In particular, Work Later, Drink Now played the main role in skyrocketing the number of weekly paid subscribers on TVING, recording over 400 million minutes of viewing in the first month of its release.
Thanks to its success, TVING announced the production of season 2 in July with the same cast – Lee Sun Bin, Han Seon Hwa, Jeong Eun Ji, and Choi Siwon.
