Kakao Entertainment’s 4th Super Webtoon Project The Villainess is a Marionette released its third dramatized trailer.
It depicts Princess Kayena (played by Han So Hee) becoming an independent figure after breaking free from her controlling, obsessive and manipulative brother (Lee Soo Hyuk), who would go to any lengths to puppet his sister.
The new teaser begins with Kayena dropping a poisoned wine glass. She stands with confidence with the emperor’s mage in her hand. Meanwhile, Prince Regef goes, “You should have stayed as my puppet,” showing his manipulative side and Duke Kidrey points a sword to him, saying, “I have no hesitation in using this sword.” Kayena grabs a chess piece with her fingertips and says, “No one can stand on top of me. I will live my life freely as I can,” suggesting that she will finally be reborn as a completely independent princess who will win both love and fate.
