Han Ji Min will be showing a deeper sensibility in the new TVING series Yonder.
Yonder tells the story of a man who receives an invitation from his deceased wife who invites him to an unknown space called “Yonder.” Through various people facing the world “Yonder” made of memories of the dead, the show raises fundamental questions about life, death, and eternal happiness. Shin Ha Kyun, Han Ji Min, Lee Jung Eun, Jung Jin Young, and more star in the drama.
On Wednesday, TVING unveiled still photos of Han Ji Min, playing the role of Yi Hu. Bearing keeping the sadness within her, she prepares to say goodbye to her husband without telling him. But her life doesn’t just end there. Yi Hu lives a new life in “Yonder,” waiting for her husband. The previously released teaser showed Jae Hyun (Shin Ha Kyun) receiving a mysterious invitation to “Yonder.”
“When I first read the script, it felt dreamy, and yet the meanings the lines hold seemed too deep and complicated. So I grew more curious about this space ‘Yonder’ the director is trying to create,” Han Ji Min shared. “Viewers have to follow the psychology of Jae Hyun, and seeing from that point of view, the confusion that Jae Hyun has must be what the viewers are feeling. I talked with the director a lot and tried to focus on Jae Hyun’s reactions rather than Yi Hu’s emotions.”
Meanwhile, TVING original series Yonder will premiere on October 14th.
