Big Mouth premiered at the top of its weekend time slot.

The first two episodes of MBC’s Big Mouth recorded average nationwide ratings of 6.2 percent and 6.1 percent. The sweet chemistry between Lee Jong Suk and YoonA captivated many viewers, and YoonA won rave reviews for portraying the angelic nurse who becomes a scary wife at home as she has to deal with her debt-ridden husband and rude neighbors. She is expected to show her tough side as she sets out to save her husband from trouble.

The first and second episodes of SBS’ Today’s Webtoon recorded average nationwide ratings of 4.1 percent and 3.1 percent. Kim Se Jung‘s new series follows a former judo athlete who joins a webtoon editorial department as a new employee and struggles to mature into a true editor. Expectations are high for the new Korean remake of the Japanese TV series as it will include the story of fixed-term employees and full-time employees.

JTBC’s The Good Detective Season 2 scored relatively lower viewership than it did in its first season. However, although the premiere episode recorded an average nationwide viewership of 3.7 percent, the show managed to fascinate viewers with its fast-paced story that includes assault, theft, and serial murder. Its tight pacing satisfied both its original fans and new viewers as it unraveled an exciting storyline that put viewers on the edge of their seats. Son Hyun Joo and Jang Seung Jo reprised their roles in Season 2.
