On tvN’s You Quiz on the Block, Junho shared how his life had changed after playing Yi San in The Red Sleeve.

When Yoo Jae Suk said, “So, you’ve been receiving role offers from many famous directors and producers,” the actor replied, “Yes, thankfully, I have been receiving many offers,” adding that he has been offered up to hundred roles since his latest starring role.

What motivated him the most as an actor and singer was his ambitions for success. Well known as an ‘ambitious Junho’ among his fans, he revealed, “I would like to put it this way: it’s not an ambition but a dream. I tend to dream big as I know I do everything that I have set my mind on.”

While the singer was active as a member of 2PM in the past, he was the only member who stayed in the dorm while other members were busy promoting themselves. He recalled the past, saying, “Back then, I was lonely and worried a lot about my future. I thought a lot about what I could do best and one of the things that came to my mind was acrobatics. But I got seriously injured while performing a move. I think I pushed myself too hard.”

Immediately after getting his surgery, the idol strived to seize opportunities by putting his heart and soul into every single role he got offered. To pull off the terminally ill character, Lee Kang Doo from Rain or Shine, he got himself cooped up in a tiny studio for five months without getting any sunlight. He even had white nasal hair and severe nausea due to the excessive amount of stress he got while playing the role. When starring in The Red Sleeve, he lost almost 35 pounds. Jo Se Ho praised him, saying, “He is by far the most diligent person I have ever seen.”
