Seo Hyun Jin radiated her charismatic charms in the recent pictorial for Harper’s BAZAAR Korea.
In the interview conducted after the photoshoot, the actress talked about her drama Why Her? which is seeing a constant rise in viewer ratings and popularity. Right after the premiere, the keyword “Seo Hyun Jin’s acting” appeared online.
“I’m actually wondering if that’s a good thing,” she shared. “The drama must be interesting to make viewers watch it until the end. They won’t watch a 16-part show, each episode lasting 60 to 70 minutes, because one actor stands out.” She added, “I feel like that keyword appeared because the tone, genre, and makeup are different from what I’ve used to do. I want the show to receive attention.”
About how she’s called the “never-failing” actress, Seo Hyun Jin commented, “I started feeling responsible while I was working on Beauty Inside. If there was at least one viewer who watched the premiere episode because they believed in me, I didn’t want to disappoint them.”
She continued, “In the movie ‘Michael Jackson’s This Is It,’ Michael Jackson holds the dancers’ hands before going on stage and says, ‘Are you ready to take the audience to a fantasy world?’ I was really impressed by the thought that one has to have a mindset like that to be called an artist.”
Seo Hyun Jin expressed her ambition and desire as an actress, saying, “Even if it’s for a short while, I wanted to draw viewers into the universe we have created.”
