Park Eun Bin has heralded yet another surprising transformation.
Extraordinary Attorney Woo is a story about a young woman named Woo Young Woo (Park Eun Bin) with Asperger’s syndrome who grows into a talented lawyer through solving various cases. The heart-warming story unfolds as she takes on challenges in the world of prejudices and absurdities, with a slightly different perspective from others.
Vagabond and Dr. Romantic series director Yoo In Sik will helm the production, and joining him in the crew is the movie Innocent Witness writer Moon Ji Won. The cast includes Park Eun Bin, Kang Tae Oh, Kang Ki Young, and many more veteran actors. On Tuesday, the production team revealed the still photos of Park Eun Bin’s first day at work.
In the middle of a crowded subway, Woo Young Woo is wearing large headphones. The destination is the law firm Hanba. Her two hands are holding her bang tightly while her wandering eyes suggest her tough survival story in the firm. However, her shaking eyes are nowhere to be seen inside a courtroom. As the person who never forgets when she sees, Woo Young Woo looks full of life as she reads the material.
More than anything, Park Eun Bin’s transformation is a hot topic. “When I first read the scripts, I didn’t think about what it would be like if I played the role. I just found the project fun. I thought it was a ‘very good drama.'” the actress shared.
“Woo Young Woo isn’t someone you want to help. She’s an innocent person who you want to be friends with,” she added. “Extraordinary Attorney Woo is a project that allowed me to face the fear of challenge. Just as Young Woo so passionately sets foot in the world, I’m also learning courage and braveness from Young Woo.”
Meanwhile, Extraordinary Attorney Woo will premiere on June 29th.
