Oh My Girl’s Arin will transform into the girl who is the epitome of splendor and uppity in Alchemy of Souls.

tvN’s new weekend series Alchemy of Souls is a fantasy romance drama set in a country that doesn’t exist in history or on maps. It follows the protagonists whose fate has been twisted due to the soul-changing magic.

Arin plays Jin Cho yeon, the youngest daughter of the Jin family and the most popular girl in Daeho country. On the outside, Jin Cho Yeon is a gorgeous and dignified “celebrity,” but in reality, she’s the innocent and somewhat childish baby of Jin family. One thing to note about her is that she only has her eyes on Jang Wook (Lee Jae Wook), the troublemaker of the Jang family.

The released photos show Arin showing off her beauty. From silk outfits to shining accessories, you can catch a glimpse into the most popular girl in Daeho country. In the meantime, Arin’s sulky face heightens expectations for her performance that’ll go back and forth between a celeb and a childish daughter.

The production team shared, “Arin is the ‘human vitamin’ on the filming sets with her bright energy. In particular, she’s doing her best and doesn’t hesitate to ask questions to three-dimensionally portray her character Jin Cho Yeon. So please look forward to her performance.”

Meanwhile, Alchemy of Souls will premiere on June 18th at 9:10 PM KST.
