Park Bo Gum was sighted volunteering at an orphanage after being discharged from the military.

On May 17th, a post about the actor helping out children in need was shared on his official fan community. The post reads that he visited a childcare center he has been sponsoring for a long time. He visited Myeongjin Deul Flower Love Village, where he and his fans as well as his agency, Blossom Entertainment, have been supporting for a long time.

The orphanage extended their gratitude by sharing, “The donation will help the children in need. Thanks for your endless support. The star himself sorted out the items sent by his fans.” Reports say that he spent quality time playing with children in their dorms and playground.

Lastly, the representative from the institution commented, “I send many thanks to Park Bo Gum and his fans for volunteering for the last ten years. Whenever we thanked him, he would always reply that this is all thanks to his fans.”

Meanwhile, the celebrity has continued privately volunteering in the orphanage since 2013. He planned to meet the children before enlisting in the military in August, but he failed to do so due to the pandemic. Eventually, he enlisted after sending the children his hand-written letters and delicious cakes.
