Yeo Jin Goo Talks About Sharing a Woman’s Feelings in His New Drama’ Link: Eat, Love, Die’

Yeo Jin Goo is returning as a man who shares a woman’s feelings.

tvN’s new Monday-Tuesday drama Link: Eat, Love, Die (hereinafter as Link) is a fantasy romance series that follows a man who finds himself experiencing random emotions of some other woman. In the drama, Yeo Jin Goo plays Eun Gye Hoon, the chef of “Jihwa Restaurant.”

“Rom-com, mystery, cooking, and drama – the vibe these genres created was so charming. And the uniqueness and newness of the character Eun Gye Hoon was the reason I chose to do Link,” the actor shared. “At first, I had a lot of concerts about how to understand and approach a unique character who feels the emotions of a stranger like his own.”

“The emotional change of Eun Gye Hoon is not a product of emotional empathy stemming from the understanding of others but something that invaded his emotions without warning. So it was important to convey that naturally and persuasively,” he added. “The condition of being linked is an important element to both Eun Gye Hoon and the drama, so I talked it over a lot with the director and writer.”

For the role, Yeo Jin Goo performs as the “sexy man who cooks.” He explained, “Cooking is a hobby of mine, but this person is a chef by profession. So I got help from a real chef to perfect how I use the knife and the pans and look inside the kitchen.”

Meanwhile, Link will premiere on June 6th at 10:30 PM KST.
