On the latest episode of KBS’ Problem Child In House, Song Ji Hyo and Kim Jong Kook showed off their sweet chemistry.
Song Ji Hyo guest-starred in the show to cheer on new MC Kim Jong Kook. She shared, “He is like my family. He can be grumpy at times, but he can also be very nice. He would look after me, not necessarily in the kindest way, but his advice always rings true.”
Hearing this, Song Eun Yi asked him whether he had any affectionate feelings toward her. Song Ji Hyo chimed in, asking, “Have you had any crush on me?” to Kim Jong Kook. The male star then burst into laughter. He went, “Well…” with a short pause and said, “No, I haven’t. She is like my family. I think she is the kind of person who can understand me even when I get cranky, though I would apologize to her for that later.”
The actress then replied, “Same here. I discuss all my personal affairs with him, and he is one of those few people I can trust to be myself around without worrying I’d scare them off. He would often tell me to stop whining, but I go on anyways and say that he’s the only one I can trust to tell those stories.” However, those answers could not stop the MCs from teasing them about their possible fling.
When the star’s older brother Kim Jong Myung, who is a plastic surgeon, complimented Ji Hyo’s flawless looks, Kim Sook jokingly said, “Perhaps, his family also wants her to be his girlfriend.” In response, he flatly denied her remark by saying, “Everyone thinks she looks flawless. She does not need any plastic surgery.”
