BLACKPINK’s “How You Like That” dance performance video has reached 1 billion views on YouTube. This makes it the first dance performance video to achieve such a feat.
According to YG Entertainment, “How You Like That” dance performance video surpassed 1 billion views as of the 7th at 10:19 PM KST. It’s been about 1 year and 7 months since the video was released in July 2022. BLACKPINK is the first among the K-pop artists to hit 1 billion views with a dance performance video, not an official music video.
“How You Like That” dance performance video has set new records since reaching 100 million views. In November of last year, it became the first-ever K-pop dance performance video to reach 900 million views. And in just three months, it added 100 million views, breaking its own record for the best and fastest record once again.
What’s more impressive is that the official MV for “How You Like That” has about 1.48 billion views. This is slightly more than the dance performance video, but the fact that both videos of the song are continuing a record-breaking streak proves BLACKPINK’s global influence.
