BTS Cancels Their Flights to the States as the Grammys Are Postponed

As the 2021 Grammy Awards got postponed, BTS also canceled their travel plan to the States scheduled for March.

On the 5th (local time), Grammys officially announced the postponement of this year’s awards show. “After careful consideration and analysis with city and state officials, health and safety experts, the artist community and our many partners, the Recording Academy and CBS have postponed the 64th Annual GRAMMY Awards Show,” they stated.

Accordingly, BTS’s flights to the States have been postponed as well. The act has officially started its second extended vacation in December. Afterward, BTS will host their offline concert in Seoul in March and is also working on their new album.

Currently nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 64th Grammy Awards, the members were scheduled to resume their activities later this month. However, a representative of Big Hit Music has now confirmed, “BTS had planned to attend the Grammy Awards. But after being informed of the ceremony’s postponement, we have halted all plans for the group to travel to the States.”
