Snowdrop is off to a promising start on Disney+ despite its controversy over historical narrative.

According to FlixPatrol, the drama came in at No.12 on the streaming ranking chart as of the 20th. It ranked fifth in Japan, third in Korea, and second in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan. The immense popularity of the series is raising concerns among Koreans about the distorted historical view of the Korean government in the 1980s.

Many online users are demanding the drama to be removed from Disney+. Some are even starting to boycott the streaming platform. With the situation getting worse over time, it is reported that Disney+ is looking into the case as people await their response.
