BTS’ V became the most searched K-pop idol singer on Google in 2021.

Google has collected data on search terms related to K-pop stars and came up with the ‘Most Searched K-pop Idols on Google 2021’ list based on the data collected from January 1st to December 2nd of 2021. The trend list showed the BTS member’s name at the top of the chart.

V made it into the trending searches on Google every time he appeared in concerts, live streaming shows, or other events.

On the 6th, BTS members created their personal Instagram accounts. V gained one million followers in 43 minutes and ten million followers in just four hours and 47 minutes. The artist also helped the official BTS accounts gain their first one million likes on Twitter and Facebook.

In addition, the global icon topped the official ranking of male Korean singers on Wikipedia’s Korean project page (English version) in October 2021. The number of page views on Wikipedia is one of the indicators that Billboard uses to generate its social charts. According to the data collected since July of 2015, V has become the artist with the most page views among all Korean celebrities.
