Amid the wild popularity of the newly released Netflix series, director Yeon has briefly explained his plans for the second season of Hellbound.
On the 25th, Yeon Sang Ho opened up about the possible season two of the new smash hit on Netflix during a video interview with a media outlet.
In the interview, he explained, “It’s not that there will or will not be a second season to the live-action series, but the original webtoon’s author, Choi Gyu Seok, and I have talked about continuing Hellbound‘s story in the form of a webtoon.” He then added, “We might be able to release the comics online in the second half of next year.”
Whether the series will return for a second season on Netflix, he shared, “So far, nothing has been confirmed.”
