Choi Woo Shik and Cho Jin Woong’s ‘The Policeman’s Lineage’ Confirms January Release

Choi Woo Shik and Cho Jin Woong‘s new movie ‘The Policeman’s Lineage’ unveiled the first poster, along with the news of its January release.

The Policeman’s Lineage follows the risky investigation of principled police officer Min Jae (Choi Woo Sik), who was given the mission to secretly monitor Kang Yoon (Cho Jin Woong), who boasts an unrivaled case-closure rate thanks to a huge donation from a mysterious group. The cast includes A-list stars, including Cho Jin Woong, Choi Woo Shik, Park Hee Soon, Kwon Yul, and Park Myung Hoon.

Today, the production company released the first poster of this highly-anticipated crime flick that captures the charisma of Cho Jin Woong and Choi Woo Shik. The Assassination star plays Park Kang Yoon, the ace team leader whose life revolves around his belief, arresting criminals. If the result is catching the bad guys, he doesn’t mind if his method is illegal.

The Parasite actor joins the cast as Park’s teammate, Choi Min Jae, who accepts the mission to uncover his partner’s corruption on the condition of receiving a secret document about his father, who was also a police officer.

The poster’s phrase “Two police officers standing on the border. Who will you trust?” heralds the unique chemistry that the two characters with different beliefs will showcase.

Additionally, My Name actor Park Hee Soon plays Hwang In Ho, who gives Choi Min Jae the mission to go on the undercover mission by using the secret document as bait. Moreover, Kwon Yul and Park Myung Hoon completed the solid lineup, giving us another reason to watch the movie.
