Kim Tae Ri made the cover of the December issues of ELLE Korea.

The actress is filming the new drama Twenty-Five Twenty-One (literal title), in which she plays fencer Na Do Hee. Throughout the photoshoot, she showed off her well-toned body that she made through constant exercise. Even during the shooting, Kim Tae Ri was seen working out and stretching.

In an interview conducted afterwards, Kim said that she’s now filming her new drama. “I learned gymnastics while filming the movie Alien + People. And turns out it works really well for me,” she shared. “I was worried if I could enjoy fencing as much as that, but it was in vain. I fell in love instantly. So I laughed and cried as I watched fencing matches at the Tokyo Olympics.”

Kim Tae Ri is well known as a “hobby lover” who has hobbies like reading and baking. And recently, she chose “bird watching” as her new hobby. “I had no idea that there were so many birds in Seoul before. Now, I turn back whenever I hear a bird chirp. A little happiness has been added to my daily life.”

Soon, the actress was asked how playing just or courageous roles affected her life. “I’m a tacky person. People seem to think I’m a good fit for such roles because I give off an organized vibe, like a straight line more than a curve. I try to live my life well while maintaining my uniqueness,” she commented.

Meanwhile, Kim Tae Ri will greet viewers with two projects next year – drama Twenty-Five Twenty-One and Choi Dong Hoon’s new movie Alien + People.
