On the 13th, Sports Chosun reported that Lee Do Hyun has joined the production of The Glory. To which, the actor’s agency Yuehua Entertainment confirmed that Lee Do Hyun is currently reviewing the offer.

The Glory tells a wicked yet sad story of a woman who plotted her revenge for a long time. When she was a high school girl, she dreamed of becoming an architect, but she had to drop out of school when she became the target of brutal school violence. Since then, she waited until the bully got married, had kids, and that child entered elementary school. After years of plotting, she begins her thorough and desperate revenge on the perpetrators and bystanders after being appointed as the child’s homeroom teacher.

Previously, Song Hye Kyo had been cast as the female lead from the early stage of the production. Especially, the fact that she and Kim Eun Sook are collaborating once again following Descendents of the Sun made headlines.

If Lee Do Hyun joins the series, he will play Joo Yeo Jung, who has lived a sheltered life. But for Dong Eun (Song Hye Kyo), he becomes a roughneck with a sword instead of a prince. In the meantime, with the success of 18 Again, Sweet Home, and Youth of May, Lee Do Hyun became the most sought-after actor in the industry.

Meanwhile, The Glory will be produced as a multi-season series, and the first part will be released as an 8-part drama.
