Kim Tae Ri, Nam Joo Hyuk, BONA, Choi Hyun Wook, and Lee Joo Myung have been confirmed to star in Twenty-Five Twenty-One (literal title).
Coming out in the first half of 2022, Twenty-Five Twenty-One will tell a youthful story full of romance, growth, and friendship.
Kim Tae Ri will play Na Hee Do, a student who becomes an Olympic fencer after experiencing the unfortunate disbandment of her high school team due to the IMF economic crisis. She is a fiery and courageous character who never gives up on her dreams.
Nam Joo Hyuk will transform into news reporter Baek Yi Jin, the eldest son of the shredded family who went through great hardship during the 1997 crisis. He now delivers newspapers and works as a part-timer at a book rental shop to help make a living.
Bona will take the role of Go Yoo Rim, the only rival of Na Hee Do and the youngest gold medalist in fencing. And Choi Hyun Wook will take on the role of Moon Ji Woong, a character who has a unique sense of fashion. He is also a social influencer on Cyworld, Korea’s top social media in the early 2000s. Lee Joo Myung plays Ji Seung Wan, a class president who always tops her class. However, she runs a pirate broadcasting club with her secret rebellious nature deep inside.
