The new TV series Bad and Crazy, starring Lee Dong Wook and Han Ji Eun, has joined the upcoming tvN roster.
On Wednesday, Sports Chosun reported that Bad and Crazy had been programmed as the new tvN Friday-Saturday series. Bad and Crazy is a superhero series that revolves around the protagonist who has lived his entire life as a materialistic detective. But one day, he transforms into a superhero who fights against police corruption when a hidden persona named “K” awakens inside them.
The Uncanny Counter director Yoo Sun Dong and writer Kim Sae Bom teamed up once again for the project. Since they recorded tvN’s all-time high ratings with The Uncanny Counter, expectations for Bad and Crazy are already through the roof.
Tale of the Nine-Tailed actor Lee Dong Wook and Lovestruck in the City actress Han Ji Eun will take the lead as Soo Yeol and Hee Gyeom. Besides the two, Wi Ha Joon and Cha Hak Yeon, aka VIXX’s N, have also joined the cast. They are filming for the series right now.
Meanwhile, tvN has completed an impressive Friday-Saturday drama lineup. Following Voice 4, which saw a solid performance, Yumi’s Cells (Kim Go Eun, Ahn Bo Hyun) and Happiness (Park Hyung Sik, Han Hyo Joo) will air later this year.
