Netflix has confirmed to produce a new romance film, The Twentieth Century Girl.
Set in 1999, The Twentieth Century Girl is a romance film about the aching yet swooning first love of the 17-year-old girl Na Bo Ra, who put friendship before love and the reappearance of her first love in the 21st century. This new work will be director Bang Woo Ri’s first feature film after winning at the Blue Dragon Film Awards with the short film Mrs. Young Hee.
Kim Yoo Jung will play Na Bo Ra, the ‘Twentieth Century Girl.’ Although she is a loyal friend who helps her friend with her crush, she slowly faces a dilemma between her friend and love as she finds a growing feeling for her first-ever crush.
