Kim Min Jung‘s agency WIP released a statement regarding the argument over the termination of Kim Min Jung’s exclusive contract.
The official statement issued on August 5th states, “We (WIP) signed an exclusive contract with Kim Min Jung on March 21th, 2019. And we have written it in accordance with the Fair Trade Commission’s basic terms and conditions.”
With the statement, WIP explained that they have faithfully fulfilled its contractual requirements. The company claimed to have settled many issues such as the provisional attachment on Kim Min Jung’s house, requesting the suspension and compensation for unlawfully executed advertisements, and her lawsuit against her former agency regarding unpaid wages, in addition to the issue of damages related to Tazza: One-Eyed Jack.
Moreover, WIP stressed, “We have never violated our contractual obligations since signing the exclusive contract with the actress.” And they added, “We will continue to take measures in resolving issues over the renewal of her exclusive contract.”
